Personal Tale:: Zetsumei Sabishii was born 08/26/1527 to James Sabishii seeing as his mother died giving birth. The death itself was already a bad sign for the boy though it was just regarded as something that had to happen every once in a while though his father took it hard. James generally took care of Zetsumei in most cases. He occasionally questioned the name he had given the boy since it had been the last thing his mother had said before she died.
Should James have ever found out what Zetsumei meant he probably would of realized he hadn't been meant to name his child it. Both him and his wife were partially Japanese though while Paula had bothered to learn it he hadn't so never knew what it actually was. Those around him who did speak it knew that the boy was named death but said nothing about it thinking it would only end up insulting.
The boy grew up fairly normally for the most part until he turned 18 and was taken by a vampire. James assumed his son was dead and feeling as he had lost everything committed suicide before finding that instead of dieing he had actually been turned. Zetsumei lived alone after that never having actually seen the one who had turned him and losing interest in who it had been soon after it happened anyway.
He lived on a normal vampiric life from their occasionally flirting with the human girls and using them for food. He never killed or turned any of them however seeing as it had ruined what little family he had and didn't want to ruin anyone elses. Basically he hid and lived in basic peace as the girls he took were so drunk usually they had no idea what had happened to them.
After living like that for a few hundred years with an uneventful vampiric life he came to Stonewood finding himself suddenly surrounded by others of a demonic nature. He managed to slip in as a casual citizen without much trouble and started to live their feeding as he usually had though he avoided the others of his kind if possible while still watching for them with interest. Basically he kept watch on the town thinking that something interesting might possibly start happening in his life besides simply being super natural himself.
