Personal Tale::
On the 20th of May, 1988, Mary A. Jones gave birth to twins. She christened her son Conan and her daughter Alex, named after their father's grandparents. The family was a happy one, living in crowded house in a large city.
Childhood was normal for a Hawk and his sister. They stuck together 24/7, never leaving each other's side. All through elementary, they finished each other's sentences, almost as if they had a telepathic link between their minds. Entering high school, Alex became shy and reserved, leaving Hawk to become more outgoing than his twin.
Hawk gained friends while Alex hung in the background silently. Despite her brother's attempts to introduce her to some of his friends, Alex remained reserved and drew no attention to herself.
At the age of 17, Alex took her own. Beside her poisoned body on the beside table was a beautifully handwritten note addressed to her mother, father and brother. When Hawk woke to find his sister, he almost joined her in death. It was only the agonized cry that alerted his parents and saved his life. Conan Jones was never the same boy ever again.
After that year, Hawk became a trouble maker. He couldn't have cared less about the world. It was as if he no longer had a soul anymore. Eventually, Hawk got himself into enough trouble to be either imprisoned or shipped off the to the military. The boy chose the latter. Hawk hoped for a quick, painless death.
That was far from what he received. During battle, Hawk had his lower right leg and both entire arms were blown from his body. Laying in the freezing snow, slowly bleeding to death, Hawk thought he was to finally see his beloved twin sister.
No such luck.
A squad of medics had been deployed to collect the survivors. They found the young man laying in a heap of melting, bloody snow, a weak yet content smile on his face. Hawk doesn't remember what happened between then and when he woke up a week later in a hospital bed.
His arms and lower right leg were there... Maybe it had been a dream? However, he was proven wrong when a man in a seemingly expensive suit arrived at his room. Hawk was told he was no longer human, but a cyborg... A partially robotic human. He was officially dead to all who had known him and he now belonged tot he government.
For two, long years, Hawk did as told. During his time, he was known as 'Crash Virus', or Crash for short. What he did was do the dirty work for the government. Killing, hacking (his brain now contains robotic chips allowing him to communicate and control high-tech computers), hijacking... Anything they desired. Because of his attitude to life, they didn't prepare for what happened next.
One lonely night, Hawk dreamed. He dreamed that his sister came to visit him as an angel. "Conan," she said. "You have to leave." It didn't take anymore prompting. The moment he had a chance, Hawk left. His captures and saviors never saw it coming.
Escaping to Stonewood and changing his name, Hawk took up the trade he studied to succeed in. A teacher.
It's been a year since Hawk has moved to Stonewood. Slowly, he's rebuilding his life from the tattered remains of his past with the help of a few illegal documents and hacked files.
