♥ Valentines Dance ♥
Every year around this time of the month there is a special dance that everyone knows to look forward to. It’s the Valentines Dance, the celebration of the season of Love! So everyone find you a date or a friend even and come to the dance, where there will be food and drinks and great music. A great atmosphere for all to enjoy, a dance that everyone will love and memories they will cherish for years to come. (( The dance will last a week or two in rp time, it can go on longer if needed!))
::Description upon entering the room::
The floor was covered in sparkles. The pink lights shown from above. The whole thing looked a bit like a steamy drama movie of some sort. Over in the far left corner there was a DJ, with a lap top in front of him and large speakers off to the side. There was no music playing yet, because the people had not arrived. Punch and cheese with crackers were lining the side of one wall, along with little heart shaped candies and a few suckers. Balloons were littered all over the place, pink red and white. It truly was going to be a love fest. There was a banner hanging over the doors leading in and exiting, were banners that either said, “Find a partner and get out there!” or “Drop your partner off and have a nice night!”
A large disco ball shimmered at the top center. It was magnificent. What nice work of the Dance Committee. A few people ran in and grabbed the remaining ladders and a table and tin were set up outside for the admission fee. It was cheap to get in, and it offered you a good time. The DJ had nearly everyone song available, if it had something to do with love or just a fun song. He was now taking requests. The party had started. Once the party has begun though everyone will either grab a hand and start dancing or perhaps just sit around talking and swaying to the music. Whatever one chooses to do, just know it’s a time for love and friendship, and cupid should find its way into all of our hearts!
