Brock had joined this academy three years ago... not yet had he made any trustworthy friends. That dang Josh was too interested in eating to pay any attention to him, let alone stop stuffing his face long enough to care. Stupid Mario was off being his usual dazed art-geek self, and had stabbed him in the back by doing something that he absolutely was NOT supposed to do. Tattle on him. Ugh. So what if he wasn't done with his homework, he was sick the day before. He could go on and on with this list of jerky dorks. At least he had a sense of humor. Or so he thought.
He wasn't really wanting to come across anyone out here, but hopefully they wouldn't be so inconsiderate to be his friend and then in the blink of an eye turn against him. Pushing his bangs out of his face, he looked around with his icy blue orbs and walked around a little, before sitting down on a small two person bench by a patch of flowers and pulled out his iPod, turning it on and cranking it up.

Runa twirled into the courtyard, and danced to an unheard melody. She was in a considerably good mood today. She had, had a wonderful night last night sneaking off into the club in town and meeting her president. Now that she was getting to know more people around her she was starting to like Stonewood more and more each day. Not that she didn't like it already...it was just that she didn't know that many people since she didn't talk much. Well now that she was vice president, that might have to change. Nah, she was fine just the way she was.
Runa did one last spin before she bumped into a bench and went toppling over it. She landed with a hard 'thunk'. She slowly opened her eyes and looked up into the blue eyes of some guy. "Uh...hi." She said quietly, embarrassed about falling over in front of someone.

brock was probably listening to one of the dumbest songs ever- "I Don't Wanna Be A Candaian Idiot." He liked the song because of the guitar in it. After changing the song to "Pain" by Three Days Grace, and a girl landed there and he found himself looking into her eyes, that same emotionless look planted firmly on his face. "Hi."[/b] He replied to her, turning off his iPod and tuckingn it away in his pocket. Smiling lightly he offered her his hand pull herself up.
Brock's eyes were showing mixed emotions, something between happiness and a cold, hateful feeling. It was his eyes that told the stories, not his face. Normally his face would be blank and his mind would be off in space.

"Thanks..." Runa said giving a nervous laugh. She dusted herself off, and looked at the guy. His eyes were mixed with emotions, but his face was emotionless. She had seen faces like that before, damn she use to be that way till she moved to Stonewood. She stared into his eyes, like she could see all that he didn't want to say, just staring into his eyes.
"I'm Runa." Runa said after a while. She couldn't think of anything else to say and the silence was getting to her. She didn't like to see eyes like that, they reminded her to much of her past, and that was something she wanted to leave behind. Her past wasn't a good one, she doubted his was much better with eyes like that.

"I'm Brock. Brock Peterson."[/b] Brock said, a small smile on his face. how was it that his luck was actually beginning to get better. It was getting better very slowly, but hey, at least it was getting better. What a nice way to end the day. The silence was slightly chilling, but it was also kinda calming. His heart's pace had slowed a little and he had begun to relax. "Are you one of the new kids here?"[/b] He asked, looking at Runa. The teo peircings in his ear were hidden by his hair, and one of his eyes were covered now. all he had to do was flick his hair and he would be able to see again.
Staring off into the distance, Brock could've swore that he saw something in there move. His eyes studied the area carefully for a while, his eyes darting all over the place. When he was sure that it was just te wind, he looked back to Runa.

"Sort of...I lived her for a year already...I just haven't gone to school here yet." Runa said smiling sheepishly. "What about you have you lived here for a long time Brock?" She wanted to know as much as she could about the student body, after all it was her job now. So getting to know Brock would be a great start. Plus, she wanted to fine out why his eyes had mirrored her's so much.
Runa could have sworn she heard something behind her, but decided it was nothing. 'Most likely Nicholai messing with the wind.' She thought to herself, since he was the other wind user besides her. She just smiled at Brock as he looked back at her.

"I've lived here for pretty much all my life, but I have only gone to this school for about three years."[/b] Brock answered Runa. He had pretty much decided to leave his whole family history out of the picture. It didn't matter. Moving around a little bit, Brock got comfortable and looked forward, scanning the area once more. Maybe his eyes had been tricking him. Hopefully that was the case.
Looking back to Runa, another question for her popped into his mind. "So, are you a human?"[/b] Brock had noticed that she didn't exactly smell human. Smell wasn't everythingkm but it was something.

"No, I'm not human." Runa answered shifting her weight to her left foot. "...Are you?.... " She was used to people guessing she was different, though how different depended on their outlook on things. She was a hybrid, a mix between a vampire and lycan, and not to many 'people' liked her because of it. She just hoped Brock wasn't the same and judged her just because she was a mix breed. It would make her feel bad, but she knew that was just how they were. She couldn't blame them, not many liked the idea of mixed bloodlines.
