Hop, jump, step was what she was doing. Over and over the action repeated as she walked her way down to an ancient temple that resided in the back of the school. Normal girls would dare to venture out into the deepest part of the forest but this girl was different. Her name, Lana Fullmoon. She belongs to a special group of kids from the school and they were called the Elite Students. They were handpicked by the Headmaster herself and the reason Lana was in it was her greatest question.
But it didn't matter. Lana enjoyed being the group. She made good friends and couldn't seem to part from them. Lana became the Elite Secretary for she doesn't have any leadership skills but that didn't bother her either. Lana liked herself just way she is. She calls herself 'odd one out' or 'Triple O' for her whole life she was the odd one. But not in human standards no. She was odd in her own race. Lana's a disguised elf. She was born with dark hair and dark eyes and she was born with special powers that only few elves were born with. It is unclear but she has some long awaited destiny in front of her.
Soon, Lana heard the raging river in front of her. She put a smile on her face and hopped several more times before she came upon the ancient temple. Lana walked over and bowed, "Sorry I'm late guys! I had cleaning up duty and I was ambushed by some of the male students again." She giggled and found an empty seat. Lana sat down with a huge sigh but gave grin, "So what did I miss? Anything important?" She closed her eyes as she listened to the water rush by and as she listened to anyone that would answer her questions.

Damien was currently sitting where he could easily stay by the river. He always found the sound of the hard rushing water rather calming. He was sitting on the ground leaned against one of the post. His one knee was raised as his arm rested on top. His gaze was at the river. He quietly listened to his fellow students talk among themselves. The temple was a place many of the elite students came when they needed to be together for a meeting or just to hang out. Damien was part of these elite students. Vice president to be exact. He had good leadership rules but he did not wish to be the president. He felt much more comfortable helping out and being one of those in the background. Damien had joined this school about four years ago. It was so he could watch over his younger sister that he knew as Naleia but here at school she was better known as Nyla. In fact she herself thought she was only known as Nyla. She did no know of her real family including Damien. As her older brother he still watched over her. Keep her safe from those who might want to harm his little sister. He would never let that happen. Like his sister Damien was a vampire. He kept it a secret from the main population of the school but he had informed the headmaster as one should.
Damien's thoughts were interrupted when he heard the voice of someone he had come to know as Lana. The brown haired boy turned his gaze from the river towards the girl who was late in arrival. Damien gave a light smile at the comment of being ambushed by males again of the school. That was typical for many of the elite student body when it came to the normal student body. "It's quite alright Lana. You did not miss much of anything," Damien soon answered the girl. He had seen her around a lot. She often followed him but he never gave her reason for him to think she did. It was cute in his mind. Damien gave her an nod before he glanced back over towards the river. The girl was the secretary of the elite students. It was a role she performed well. It was a good spot for her to be in.
Damien closed his eyes as he listened to the others speak again. It was something he often did. Listen more then he spoke. He would offer his opinion at certain points of an conversation but for the most part he would be the one who listened. Only speaking when he had to or when he should. He was intelligent. After all he only appeared the age of a teenager. He was much older just a little bit older then the old myths from the ancient times. It was sad how his mother had to remove her life on a miss communication. Although Damien was here on a mission. To watch over his smiling little sister. There would be one day he would speak the truth to her about her family. He was not ready to tell her this information now though. It was far too early for that.

"Sorry I'm late guys! I had cleaning up duty and I was ambushed by some of the male students again. So what did I miss? Anything important?" "It's quite alright Lana. You did not miss much of anything" Cold, soothing, water flowed around pale naked feet and ankles, dragging at them with the slightest ammount of pressure as the current of the river tried to take possession of them. The soft song of nestling birds filled the air from where they were hidden within the canopy of the lush green trees that surrounded and grew around the small serene temple. Small golden koi swam lively around the temple but kept far away from the pale ankles that were kept submerged with the river's depths, instinctively knowing to stay away. Sariel Hunter sat upon the wooden surface of the temple's balcony, her long legs hanging over its edge where her feet and ankles could feel the soothing quality of the water that surrounded their retreat. Classes had yet to end, and lunch had only recently begun so as such Sariel was still dressed in the compulsary uniform of the academy. Her black pleated skirt stopped inches above her knees, a stainless white shirt covered her upper body with every one its pale buttons kept in place, her dark striped tie formed into a small bow just beneath her shirt's pale collars. She had removed her black jacket, setting it just behind her alone with her short black socks and sensible black shoes. Unlike most of her fellow female population, Sariel did not bother with jewelery or nail-polish and wore only dark lipgloss for make-up, yet still achieved a highly beautiful appearence. Her long dark red hair had been styled back into a simple plait that fell down her back, a small dark novel held open against her lap as she read its contents with a small bemused smile on her plump lips. Twilight had been printed in silver lettering across its surface. It was a popular novel amongst human society at the point of time, consisting of an unusual romance between a human and a vampire. And, in Sariel's opinion, it was one of the most humerous books that she had ever read, finding Stephanie Meyer's intake of vampires to be more than absurb. "Diamond skin"? Really! Closing the novel after marking the page that she was on, Sariel directed her purple hues upon Lana, noding her head in a form of greeting. Her smile wasn't particularly warm but it wasn't unfriendly either. "There's not much to discuss right now," she informed the hidden elf. "No events have taken place within the school's grounds that require this club's attention ... at least none that I'm aware of." "It's annoying," she added, seemingly to no-one in particular, as she stretched her body out, tilting her beautiful face towards the light of the burning sun. "Now I don't have an excuse to use for why I didn't complete my essay on Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra. I doubt the English facilty will be pleased since it'll be my second assignment that I've failed to hand in this symester ... oh well. It's not like I'm in any danger of failing my other subjects."

Nyla was skipping across the log bridge that connected from dry land to the temple that practically floated on water. She was in no hurry but she was trying to avoid someone that happened to be following her. It was that annoying kid again with the huge glasses; he was the teacher's pet in most of her classes. He took it in his own responsibility to follow her around to make sure she was doing all her assignments like the teacher had asked of her and if she wasn't well he thought it would be "cool" of him to go report it to her mother that happened to be the headmaster. No it wasn't cool at all, in fact that earned him a punch to the face a few times actually.
Nyla hated that kid, and worst her mother tried to hard to make them be friends and even if she wanted to refuse she couldn't. He was annoying, geeky, and most of all a stuck up. He caused nothing but trouble and was always reporting to the headmaster about something. His name just happened to be Derek, but not like she remembered it. She just remembered him as the boy with the huge glasses. Continuing to run she made it across and onto the platform of the nice temple. She was under the shade, it was a nice cool day and the autumn’s air snuck around her whirling her short blond hair around her face. She fiddled with her pink ribbon that she had tied in her hair before continuing to walk across the platform and make her way inside the temple. The nice comfort smell of nature made her reassured she was at home. She always snuck away to this place to be alone, though now that school was in session again she knew she wouldn’t be alone. The elites came here often to carry on meetings and usually the elites found it quite useful to get connected with their spiritual sense and worship to those they found of higher power. Nyla devotes herself to Shinto, a religion that worships the spirit world. She even devoted herself into becoming a Shinto priestess and her mentor, who was a high priestess, always told Nyla the only way to be a great priestess was to indeed do well in school. Well so much for that!
Nyla stopped when she found other students lurking around. She popped her head inside and with her bright eyes she opened her big mouth and shouted “HELLO!” she then took a step forward but she tripped on something and fell flat on her face. “OW….” She shouted and so much for introductions.

After sitting down, Lana only then seemed to open her eyes. She looked around and found that Damien spoke to her. Even though she liked him, Lana didn't faltered in showing it. She kept calm and collected. It was the only way to hide her true feelings for him. Besides, Lana always thought that no one would like her. She always repeated that to herself everyday. She thought like that because her destiny was unclear. She was the odd one in her family. Everything about her was odd but it didn't effect her family as much as herself.
Lana looked over to Sariel the President of Elites. She moved around in her chair to where she sat crisscrossed. She put her hands on her ankles and leaned forward. She smiled to Sariel and said, "What are you reading, Sariel?" But she then blinked several times and asked, "Really? Nothing at all? What a bummer." Lana pouted a bit and said, "If you need help with any help with English Sariel just let me know. I'll always be glad to help." She gave wink and soon looked over her shoulder for she heard footsteps.
The Elite Secretary smiled and said, "Oh, Nyla! H-" She was cut off by Nyla's little fall. She shook her head and got up from her seat. Lana went over to the girl and held up a hand out and said, "You have to be more careful, Nyla." She smiled and gave a wink. Soon she heard other footsteps in the distance. Her hearing was more acute than others for she was an elf. She looked up and realized that a little geek was following Nyla again. She rolled here eyes and looked to Nyla, "Is he giving you trouble again? Well I shall take care of it." She giggled.
After helping Nyla and standing up, Lana crossed her arms. She heard the boy walking in the distance. She pointed her index finger and soon there was a roar across the earth. Little bumps went across the ground and finally found the boy. It sent him falling to the ground much like Nyla did. He pushed off the ground and he crossed his arms. He adjusted his glasses and tried to figure out what happened. But soon he gave up, turned around and walked away from the temple. Lana turned to Nyla and smiled, "Hopes that helps for now." She went back to her seat and sat down once more crisscrossed.

Damien kept his stare at the moving water of the river. It was always peaceful here at the temple. Which was probably why the Elite students always chose to have their meetings here if they can. The brown haired man ran his hand through his hair as he continued to focus on the river. He soon heard the voice of the president of the Elite students. Damien's eyes glanced towards her as she spoke about there not being anything to report today. Well then at least they could enjoy the calm air of the area. This was one of Damien's favorite spots and he always loved going here even if there really was no reason at times.
Soon the brown haired man glanced back to the river. He heard Lana ask Sariel what book the Elite President was reading. It appeared Damien was not the only one who enjoyed a good book. The Elite Vice President was always reading something when he had the spare time. This time however he did not take one of his books. Instead he had decided he would just admire the river. It was always peaceful here and he had company so he did not have to worry about keeping himself entertained with a book. "Sariel you should not worry about it though. Your teachers know you do well in your classes so one little homework you don't do won't harm you," Damien pointed out as he laughed lightly. The Elite Students usually did quite well in school. For the most part. There were times when they become very busy and did not get things done in their classes.
Soon another person had joined the small little group. Damien's eyes lightened as he quickly glanced over to the girl. Nyla was her name. She was his beloved sister but no one knew that only he did. He made a move to quickly get up but Lana had beat him to his sister so he just got comfortable on the ground once again. A slight frown appeared on his face as he watched Nyla. He really wished he could tell her who he really was. He only could watch her from an afar. "Careful Nyla. I don't want to have to carry you to the hospital from a little fall," Damien told her as he smiled lightly. He was being half serious in his own way. He never liked seeing his little sister hurt after all. The amount of time Damien spent watching the girl some might think he had a crush on the younger student. It was true that he loved her but only as a brotherly love and nothing more.
Damien soon settled down in his spot as pulled on of his knees closer to him. He wrapped his hands around his knee as she watched Lana and Nyla converse. Damien tilt his head slightly when Lana had used her powers but he soon found the answer as to why. It was that boy who annoyed Nyla. Damien felt as a brother he should really speak with the boy. He was sure he could threaten him but the little weasel came across as one to go to the head mistress. It was rather annoying. When ever he could Damien would make sure that the boy was not following Nyla but sadly Damien was rather busy a lot of the times and could not stop the boy all the time. He would have to speak with him some time. The annoyance was bothering Damien. His sister was upset with the lad and Damien did not like when his younger sister was upset. He just frowned as he shook his head before glancing towards the river once again.

At the replies of both their club's vice president and secretary, the red-head vampire released a soft laugh that was even more light and musical than her usual tone of voice. Her unusual purple hues shimmed with humour for a moment and her darp plump lips turned themselves into a small smile, only increasing Sariel's already impressive beauty.
"I might just take you up on that offer, Lana," she replied, tucking a strand of her long crimson hair, which had escaped the confines of her plait, behind her right ear as she spoke. "And whilst you're correct Damien in that our teachers are understanding, forgiving us should we slack off somewhat. But both of those assignments were worth ten percent of my marks for this symester. I really can't afford to get any further behind."
Though her voice sounded concerned for her own miserable fate, Sariel really didn't care whether or not she passed or failed her english class - whether she passed or failed any of her classes. She was a vampire who had been stuck in a sixteen-year-old's body for generations and who was an enternal employee of the Hunter's Association. School wasn't a necessity for Sariel.
It was at that point that Nyla Osa, the daughter of the headmistress and a member of the Elite, made her "interesting" appearence, falling flat on her face after loudly announcing herself. Sariel flashed the girl a smile of greeting but said nothing, watching as Lana used her own unique ability to put Nyla's stalker in his place.
"Why that was somewhat amusing I'm pretty sure that I'll have to see the headmistress when classes are finished now. From what I've gathered that boy is ... what's the word ... a snitch? He's bound to mention his strange fall after informing Osa's mother that he lost sight of her around here," Sariel sighed, almost irritably, as she lifted her novel up once more and prepared to resume her reading. A glance towards Damien informed Sariel that she wasn't the only one annoyed at Lana's impulsive action, though her worries were completely different to his own.

It was just a moment of blinking and laughter coming Nyla as she found herself getting help from Lana, another elite student that she had grown fond of after being around them for so long. She stood up onto her own two feet brushing herself off and still giggling while her face was dark red with embarrassment. She heard Damien’s remark and small animated sweat drop ran down the side of her forehead. She hated how he was always so protective and worried about her. He acted as her brother, and she didn’t even have a brother! At least she didn’t know that and all she saw Damien as was a nice boy but too worried for his own good. She just rubbed the back of her neck nervously as she looked back over to Lana.
“Oh…well yeah….he is!” she didn’t want to get the nerd into any trouble with Lana but then again it would be a sight to see her do something to get rid of the little pest. He was such a stalker and most of all it was known around school he also probably had a crush on the poor girl. Poor Nyla, she just wanted her space from the geeky kid and what did she have to do to make him see she didn’t like him? Nyla turned and watched how Derek, but she knew him only as the boy with the huge glasses fall down flat on his face just how Nyla had done except he actually was tripped while Nyla had no excuse and she was just a walking time bomb that was bound to fall on her face at any given moment. Once the boy was convinced the play was cursed he scurried off yelling something about Nyla and homework but he was running and screaming that it sounded like a jumbled up mess. Nyla just shook her fist in anger and then looked back to Lana “Oh yeah thanks for your help!” She smiled cheesy.
Nyla turned around and then looked to Damien. “Hey Damien!” She waved and then looked to Sariel. “Hey Sariel!” She was just making up for the bad introductions. She stepped forth into the center of the square like room and she took in the fresh atmosphere. There was such a spiritual connection to this place and Nyla could feel it running through her like and it was like a light switch had turn on inside her someplace. She was definitely at home. “So what did I miss?!” she asked cheerfully.
