A smirk that revealed nothing but canines and a casual toss of the head, "A demon, me? ...No, not really. Dream-lost like you - are you are dream-lost, no matter what little arguments you put forward - sometimes call us that because your languages don't have a better word for us, because your senses - not even your predator senses - are right for sensing us properly. But we're seperate from demons, something entirely different."
Ciar laughed. The girl said she'd had the same nightmare for years, but Ciar could make it an even worse and more horrifying nightmare. Heck, if it was a nightmare based on memory she could come to make Kage believe that her knew nightmare was the one she'd had all along, that the new nightmare was the memory. It was such an easy task for his kind, all it took was time and that was something Ciar had in abundance, "Now now, that would be telling."

Kage Hana watched as Ciar smirked and noticed all of his teeth were canines. "Dream-lost? Is that what you call my kind? There are much better words for my kind then that" Kage Hana said. She smirked revealing her unusually long and sharp canine teeth. If she wanted to Kage Hana could've just transformed and jumped away. Kage Hana was holding back the urge to transform as was evident by her hands shaking and her nails growing slightly. Kage Hana was holding back the desire to start drinking blood.
Kage Hana looked at Ciar and sighed a little. This guy was starting bore Kage Hana. She had much better things to do then stay in this alleyway and talk to Ciar. "Are you going to actually do something or can i leave this alley" Kage Hana asked curiously. Kage Hana waited for an answer and hoped Ciar could give her a fun answer.

"Its one of the things my people call your kind - but not the 'kind' you're thinking of. Its a perfect name by what defines the dream-lost." It was one of the descriptions that all beings of this plane where given by the Alp, and only a mildly insulting on at that. Beings of this world couldn't live in dreams, couldn't even control them. They'd lost the ability, and wandered through their own dreams like tourists without a map. Hence dream-lost, in two ways.
Another amused grin that showed off all those needle-thing fangs, "Ah but Kage, mein geehrte kleines gör, how can you be certain I haven't done anything already?"

"What 'kind' am I thinking of" Kage Hana asked smugly. Kage Hana looked at Ciar and sighed. She was starting to get a little annoyed. Kage Hana wanted to go have fun, go party, have some laughs, anything but stand in this alleyway. Her patience was waring thin and her temper was getting worse and worse.
"I don't know if you already did anything but whatever you do, or did, I can handle it" Kage Hana said calmly. She wanted to just transform and attack Ciar but that wouldn't be good. "Can we get out of this alley? I'm starting to lose my temper" Kage Hana said to Ciar. Kage Hana knew that if she was in public her resistance over transforming would be greater. Kage Hana waited for Ciar to say something.

A playful wink and sticking out his tongue made it very clear his first statement wasn't at all serious - as if his tone hadn't been enough, "The kind being 'not-German' of course! Well, you were referring to those that love both blood and the moon, but you'll deny it now of course. Hey, you might try to now claim you imagined I was referring to none-demons, so I'll point out right now that demons are included in the category. You're thinking of the wrong kind, because you don't even know what I am."
Ciar looked as though he had to work hard to keep from laughing, "'Handle it'? The scars all over your psyce say otherwise. In fact, I'd say you can barely handle anything at all. Just look at you! I disagree with you on a few points of etiquette and you're reduced to insults. I ask for an apology and you can't even control your shape anymore. Learn to handle your temper, and maybe you'll learn to handle a fraction of what I could do to you." Because dreams influenced the mind, more than nearly any dream-lost could imagine. To have even a fraction of the mental ability Alp had from birth, and with it perhaps the ability to attempt some kind of defense against him, you would have to spend centuries of deep and extensive training of your mind. Kage didn't even have a foundation to stand on.

Ciar spoke again and said something that shocked Kage Hana. "Love both blood and moon? What do you mean" she asked curiously. Her voice also hinted that she was a little nervous. Kage Hana was nervous that Ciar might know what she was. Ciar claimed he was not a demon but something which Kage Hana had never heard of. "Well if you're not a demon then what are you" Kage Hana asked simply.
Kage Hana calmed down and listened as Ciar spoke again. "I can handle it, I can control my temper, and I can keep my shape" Kage Hana said simply. She had accidentally blurted out the last part about maintaining her shape. She didn't want Ciar to know what she was or else there might be trouble. "Oh do you have the time" Kage Hana asked. She was worried about being late for school. Last time she was late Kage Hana got punished and she didn't want to go through that again.

"Something that's evolved far past you. We've evolved past this world, in fact." Evolved might not have been the best way to put it, but it was the best term Ciar knew to even try to offer a comparison with, "And you know exactly what I mean. Half of two things that humans call monsters; one that loves the moon, the other addicted to blood. Its funny, I didn't think your two species were even compatible enough to have children between them. Or is it like those, those, those donkey-horse things, we're they can have children but you're sterile?"
Ciar laughed again, "You just went from wanting to disembowl me to asking the time? Not the smoothest change of subject. But back on track about keeping your shape - you're nails have turned into claws, and your palms are now bleeding. . Oh, and while we're on the subject, you might want to cool off your fangs too. I'm of the opinion that I don't actually bleed." He'd certainly never heard of an alp bleeding. But now he thought of it, his kind didn't exactly spend a lot of time in the dream-lost's lesser world, and those that did certainly teleported away before things got sticky. It had probably never come up before. Hm, perhaps that was something he would test. At a later date. When he was so bored he needed to cut himself just for entertainment (which, of course, meant never).

"Evolved? I wonder what he means by that" Kage Hana thought to herself. She looked at Ciar and sighed. She was not having a very good day today. Kage Hana had to get back to school but it seemed like she'd have to talk to Ciar a little more. Her face was expressionless but her eyes could easily tell what she was thinking; 'I'm bored and want to leave'.
"Now wait just a minute I never wanted to disembowel you, maybe hit you. I only asked the time because I need to get back to school. Also I haven't transformed at all yet and if I have it'd only be a little furrier, I can still keep my shape Kage Hana explained. She looked down at her hand and saw it was indeed a little 'furrier'. Kage Hana took a few relaxation breathes and calmed down, this made her hand return to normal. She was definitely annoyed at Ciar right now. Kage Hana had never met somebody so infuriating she actually had to struggle to keep her shape. Being around Ciar was probably not the healthiest thing for Kage Hana to do. Besides she really did have to get back to school. Kage Hana didn't want to punished on her first week of school much less her first day.

While Kage grew more and more infuriated, Ciar was finding that he was having more and more fun - well, it didn't yet quite reach 'fun', but his amusement was getting there. Her horrible control, her attempts at insults, her ignoble pride (it was alright to be proud of things worthy of pride or admiration, but he's yet to seen anything of the like from Kage); it was so clear that she was beneath the dirt under his feet, and yet she continued to be upset at his simple, truthful observations. Apparently a result of being born of these particular two species meant you were completely irrational, even more than most Dream-Lost. How laudable.
"A minor exaggeration on my part doesn't change the point I'm making about you. It was both a really lousy attempt to change the subject, and simply ridiculous; here you are wanting to fight me, hurt me, and then you go and ask a favour. Besides which, isn't it one of those 'not working' days?" Whatever it was they were called, Ciar had never bothered to try and learn what people called them. Just as he had never bothered to try and learn how Dream-Lost calculated time. A pointed look down at her hands, and Kage looked down as well - proven wrong already; her hands were well and truly transformed despite her denials. Ciar merely grinned (one of those irritating 'I told you so' grins people were so fond of) even as Kage fought against the change, struggling to bring her hands back to their previous shape. That she succeeded meant nothing - she had changed, and being an only partly change didn't stop that fact. Honestly, it made Kage seem like she didn't know herself at all.

"I really, really need some coffee" Kage Hana thought as she scratched the back of her head. Kage Hana was sleepy and had a low amount of energy. The alleyway was depressing and just made Kage Hana feel like she was in a dirty, rat-infested place. Ciar's mood and way of talking didn't help Kage Hana either. She wished that it had been somebody besides Ciar who she met that day.
"Ok ok whatever. I was having a hard time maintaining my shape, I was losing my temper, and I did want to fight" Kage Hana said sleepily. She was tired of arguing and just wanted to leave. "You mean a weekend? No it's not, besides I live at school so I'd have to go back either way" Kage Hana explained. Kage Hana was to tired to transform so she was able to stay normal. To get her full energy back Kage Hana would have to stay in the moonlight tonight and drink some blood which she usually kept for emergencies only.

"There now, admitting I was right and you were lying wasn't so hard, was it?" His grin turned smug, even at he shrugged, "Well, whatever you want to call those not-working days, it doesn't matter to me."
He remained there, standing in Kage's way and smiling, hands tucked into the pockets of his swallow-tail jacket. Either he was oblivious that he needed to move for her to leave, or he simply didn't care. After all his previous attitude, it was easy to guess which way Kage would assume.

"Yeah whatever" Kage Hana said sleepily. She wanted to go take a nap. Kage Hana yawned and put a hand over her mouth as she did so. Ciar was still blocking her way and Kage Hana didn't want to do anything she would regret. She wondered for a minute about what to do.
Kage Hana knew she would be late to school if she didn't hurry. Even with Ciar in the way Kage Hana thought she could get away. She walked closer to him and then jumped right over Ciar making sure not to even touch his top hat. She landed behind him and began walking again/ "Thanks for wasting my time" Kage Hana said calmly as she walked away. If Kage Hana didn't get back to school soon she might be in trouble.

Ciar merely turned to watch her as she jumped over him, without the slightest trace of being impressed by the act. He cupped a hand to his mouth, "You could have simply asked, you know." And really, she was the one who insisted on starting a conversation - if anyone's time had been wasted, it had been his. The girl needed to stop blaming other people for her faults.
A glance back to the alley where the Beast still lay hiding from him. Ciar smirked, and turned to walk up the nearest wall - horizontally, as though the wall was the ground and the ground a wall. He stopped halfway - hat sitting on his head and hair falling down his back, rather than towards the ground. He gave a cheekily little wave at Kage's slowly-moving back, "I'll see you in your dreams then, Kage Hana."

"I did ask. You simply didn't move" Kage Hana said simply. She was bored and just decided to leave. Ciar was boring her and the conversation was even more boring. Kage Hana sleepily walked away. She wasn't paying to much attention to what Ciar did or said. Ciar did say something that piqued her interest. "I don't think so" Kage Hana said playfully. She liked messing with people's heads. Kage Hana walked away and out of sight. She was heading back to school and hoped that she wouldn't be in a lot of trouble , and that no one else would stop her and waste her time.

"You're imagination is getting the better of you. Learn some humility, that's my advice to you." He ignored any possible irony in that statement - after all, he was an Alp, and that made him special. Ciar grinned ferally, even though Kage hadn't turned back once to look at him and she was now out of hearing-range, even for her, "You might not think so, but I do. And I'm speaking literally. Of course, you might find your dreams even more unpleasant with me there, too. I have to eat, after all."
And with that, he simply disappeared, apparently blinking out of existance. The top-hat floated softly to the ground before dissolving into a black mist - and after a moment, that too was gone.
