Runa sat on one of the seats in the library. Her legs were hanging over the seat of the chair, and she had her jacket draped over her skirt to cover up. She had come to the library to relax and get away from the chatter going on.
"Ah....I'm tired...I wanna go home." She sighed out.
Runa put the book she was reading, Absolute Brightness, and put her head back to look up at the ceiling.
"I need some excitement." She said to herself.

Shelton walked into the library and looked around, taking in the library and all the books. "Finally some silence!" he said quite loud and heard the libraian's "SHH!" He turned and smiled. "Sorry, i'm new and all the students, so much noise." He said and walked toward an open table. When he reached the table he threw his bag down beside it and layed down on it mumbleing. "This new life better be worth all the shit i'm going to go through." He said and luaghed to himself.

Kaiya walked into the libray with a bopok in her hands. she had been allowed to borrow it for a week and had read it in two days. Maybe a cookie would be suiting for her achivement. She gracefully made her way up to the counter in her ripped, faded blue jeans and her newest shirt, handing the book to the librarian while brushing her long wavy locks out of her face. The librarian grinned at her and nodded, and Kaiya walked over to the bookshelf to look for another book, before walking over to one of the tables and plopping down in the chair, only to study the cover.

Runa looked over to where she heard the guy at. He was sitting at one of the tables in the library, and he was pretty loud.
'Wow....he seems exciting enough.' She thought to herself staring at the guy.
She was to tired to actually get up from the chair she was lounging in though. She had had a tough day yesterday...to much homework....though she didn't mind it really. She liked the homework, it helped her to get her mind off of certain topics in her head.
Runa just kept on staring at the boy though, he seemed very interesting. She hadn't seen him before, then again she had only lived here for a year.
"Alright gotta get up. My back is starting to hurt." She said quietly to herself as she hopped up from the seat.
She stretched out, holding her book in one hand to keep it's page, and yawned. She really was tired.

Shelton just layed there on the table and sighed, he hadn't expected the pains of trying to start anew, he tried to about a hundred years ago but it didn't work out, he lost everything. "So, what book to read." He said aloud, but not to loud as not to annoy the librarian, he even looked up to make sure he didn't and noticed the to girls also in the library.

Kaiya sat there studying her book. she had barely acknowledged the other two, because she was so caught up in her own little world. She looked up from the cover and blinked a few times, a look that resembled a deer in the headlights on her face. how could she be so foolish? These two smelled different. Nothing like humans. At least, not very much like humans. If they were dragons also, then she shouldn't have any problem distinguishing their scent, but these ones smelled like... like Sariel. So if she could figure out what they were then... yes! Moving over to the table where the boy was sitting, quietly of course, and a grin on her face. She pulled out a piece of paper and a pen and scribbled on it Hi! I'm Kaiya. I would talk but.. well it's a library  ... so, what's your name?" Not exactly the best thing to do, but if they couldn't talk then, well, you get the point, right? It was the best thing to do in this situation. Maybe he was new here too.... that would be nice. The other girl should feel free to come over and sit down too, but it was up to her. |

Runa noticed the other girl head over to the guy and watched for a bit. She wasn't sure if she should go over there or not. She really didn't talk much, but then she noticed the other girl pull out a piece of paper and write on it. Now that she could do. So marking her place in her book she set it down on the chair she was lounging on, and turned to walk over to the pair.
Runa plunked herself down in one of the chairs at the table and rested her head in her hands. She would just wait till they passed her the paper. She wasn't in a hurry, this was better than lying down in that chair anyways.

Shelton only looked at the paper and smiled, he didn't want to write, his writing was sloppy at times and seemed to make him appear a child, he took the paper and read it, passing it on to the girl who had just come over to sit with them. He sat up and moved to the edge of the table just watching them. "Nice to meet you kaiya." he said aloud and turned toward the other girl, "Your name is?" He said and smiled. "My name is shelton, good to meet you both."

Runa just bit her lip trying to supress her laugh. Shelton clearly didn't want to use the paper to right, so I guess they would just talk...quietly. She didn't like disturbing the other students in the library or getting hushed by the librarians.
"Nice to meet you Shelton." She said pushing back in her chair. "An nice to meet you too, Kiaya. I'm Runa."

Although Kaiya wasn't really one to get into trouble, she didn't really want to talk. Although Runa and Shelton would speak, she didn't really want to. She figured she may be able to get away from it and the librarian was actually gone. Might just as well talk. "Hello to the both of you. Wonderful day isn't it?"[/b] Kaiya said this in a slightly sarcastic tone, and a smirk on her face. Sure she had only been here for a few days, but still. Perhaps these two could be her first friends. Happy-happy joy-joy. Her voice had that slight Australian accent making her seem more of a bronze beauty than she actually was. Pulling her hair back behind her shoulders and with a small flick of her head her bangs were out of her face.
Straightening up in her chair, she pulled out a pack of gum and held it out on the table motioning for the two to take a peice. It wasn't that bad of gum, the flavor lasted and it tasted good. She grabbed a peice and shoved it in her mouth wrapper and all. You could eat the wrapper, because it was "Stride" gum. With the wrapper on it it was easier to snap, too.

Shelton only luaghed at the thought of the librarian, he could easily make her leave, he had a way about him, a rather amazing charismatic personality. He looked at the girl named runa. "Hello runa, nice to meet you." He said and smiled, his black fangs showing. He knew they weren't human, not in the least, Kaiya definatly had dragon's blood in her. But Runa, She wasn't just a vampire. "Lycan-Vampire mix?" He said in almost a whisper.
Shelton looked at kaiya, and almost died out luaghing. "Not in the least." He said and smiled. "I'm new and have already been bugged, and i'm on that verge, you know, just to leave here and give up on trying to make friends." He said and lied back on the table again.

A hybrid and a vampire maybe? A dragon didn't really fit the equation... Did it? Kaiya looked about and pulled her gum back into her pocket. Smiling she laughed a slight half-hearted laugh and looked to Shelton. "Same here, buddy. Not easy being the new kid."[/b] She stopped to wonder why people chose not to be the new kid's friend. She had chose not to befriend the new kid unless they seemed to be a decent, more popular person. Just her ways.
